Health Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi has expressed concern over the lifestyle habits that South Africans are accustomed to. Speaking to Nghamula Chauke on his reaction regarding the Statistics South Africa report that diabetes is now the number 1 leading killer in South Africa, Dr Motsoaledi said people are leading unhealthy lifestyles where they no longer prefer to cook healthy meals adding that most prefer fast foods and junk meals. He said back in the days, a lot of black Africans were not prone to lifestyle diseases because of the food they preferred eating.
